Elk Meadow Park and Dog Park: Enjoy any of 13 miles of
hiking through the beautiful forest and meadows. You can take your
dog hiking on a leash, or head to the dog park to let Fido run free.
Rec Centers: The Evergreen Parks & Recreation District has
two facilities: the Wulf Recreation Center and the Buchanan Park
Recreation Center. There are countless activities for youth, adults
and seniors, including indoor swimming, a gymnastics gym, a
climbing wall, sport opportunities and exercise equipment.
Ice Melt Contest

Evergreen Nature Center Programs
Evergreen’s Nature Center at the lake opens
this Earth Day for another wild and wonderful six-month season. Fun, educational
programs about nature’s wonders include
wildflower hikes, stargazing and nest box
monitoring and are offered for both children
and adults. Other favorite events include
May’s International Migratory Bird Day and
September’s Bird House Bash.
Summer Concert Series at the Lake

This June you are invited to a party in a
lovely Evergreen home for drinks, abundant

Weekend in the West
This June art lovers join well-known sculptors and artists from around the country
in the half-acre outdoor sculpture garden
at Evergreen Fine Arts Gallery where artists
create a finished piece in 90 minutes. Quick-draw works are then auctioned at a champagne brunch.
Evergreen Kickball Classic
Teams of adults and children with 15 to 20
players compete in this annual June event.
Community team building is highlighted as
funds are raised for the Evergreen Chamber
of Commerce. Winners receive a cash prize.
Evergreen Rodeo Weekend
Festivities begin with a pancake break-
fast and the Evergreen Rodeo Parade and
continue with professional rodeo and bull-
