Triple Bypass Bike Ride
Team Evergreen Bicycle Club, now in its 25th
year, has raised over $1.1 million for 80 different charities— riding bikes! This incredible mid-July ride crosses three of Colorado’s
highest paved passes.
Evergreen Jazz Festival
July 26-28 traditional jazz bands from around
the country come to Evergreen’s cool Rocky
Mountains for this highly praised three-day
festival. Groups deliver a big jazz experience
in a variety of intimate and unique listening
environments. Jazz workshop opportunities
and dance classes are also offered.
A Night in the Park
The nationally accredited Mountain Area
Land Trust hosts this favorite August event
under a tent in Three Sisters Park. Enjoy a
catered dinner, live band and fun auction.
Proceeds go to local land preservation efforts.
Bootstraps Western Wine Fest
Outdoors under blue skies taste wine samples from 20 different Colorado wineries.
At this mid-August event, food and wine-related items are available. Special dinner
tickets may be purchased before the festival.

40 miles of spectacular mountain views, wildlife
viewing and 36 museums and historical sites.

Three Sisters/Aldefer Park: With 770 acres of
open space, you can’t go wrong with the scenery,
10+ miles of hiking trail around the Three Sisters
(and “The Brother”) rock outcroppings. Bring a
camera and binoculars to appreciate the wildlife.
Evergreen Fine Arts Festival
Visit one of the highest quality, top-rated
art shows in the country where outstanding artists from around the nation display
their works. Artistic creations in a wide
variety of mediums are shown in a mountain grove accompanied by live entertainment and select food vendors. This eagerly
awaited late-August weekend event is free.
Evergreen Park and Recreation
District's Kids' Triathlon
In late August, held at Buchanan Park
Recreation Center, that site is also the
finish line for that day’s Kids Triathlon,
a fun swim, bike and run event open to
children over 5.
Big Chili Cook-Off Music and Arts
This bigger than life September event has
it all: 100 different types of chili to sample, music from classical to rock on three
different stages, jumping castles and face
painting for kids and a juried art show and
sale. This wildly popular festival includes
a Firefighter Challenge Competition and
a moving Firefighter Tribute. Proceeds
from visitors and a grateful community
help support six mountain-area volunteer
Evergreen Open Door Studios Tour
On the third weekend in September, art-
ists open their private studios to visitors for
a self-guided tour. A full-color tour book
includes a location map, artists’ biographies
and photos of their work. At individual
studios visitors can view demonstrations,
works-in-progress and finished pieces. The
tour and Friday’s opening reception are
free and open to all.
Join the Evergreen Animal Protective
League at its annual fundraising event this
September for a buffet dinner, live band
and cash bar. At this come-as-you-are
affair, ticket proceeds and the sale of over
100 silent auction and 12 live auction items
help raise funds for Evergreen’s needy pets.
